From Sam - One More Week:

Hello Everyone!

This week was a blast. The biggest highlight was of course calling home. There were lots of other things but that trumped it all. The thing that made me so happy was that everyone I talked to said I had a slight accent. I've been out here for only 4 1/2 months. I can't wait to see how "bad" it gets in two years. It was really nice to talk face to face with my family. There are many other things I learned this week that really made me think and I want to apply in my life. The one thing I learned is that lots of people say time is money, but I learned that time is life. My bishop even talked about it at church. One thing I want everyone to know is that if you waste time you are literally wasting life. This principle really made me think and I even had to write it down it was so intense in my mind.

Today is my birthday and I forgot that it was all morning. As we were shopping I remembered and I got a small cake and the Zone Leaders came over and we had a small celebration. I was not expecting it but the ZLs got me a birthday present, a book full of quotes by President Hinckley. The one on the front says "Stand a Little Taller". Just reading the cover I felt inspired. It's amazing how the spirit stays with the words of the prophets.

If there is anything you all want to know specificaly, let me know and I will let you know.
I love you all, stay awesome and don't waste time.
